Choosing a Cotillion

Choosing a Cotillion

JDW Cotillions believes that there are many excellent cotillion organizations throughout the country, and highly encourages parents to have their children participate in the experience. It is a wonderful opportunity of learning social skills through the enjoyment of dance. Social education is a very important subject in today's world, and everyone can benefit from its rewards.

In choosing the right cotillion program for your community you should use the same criteria as you would in choosing the right school for your children. How many years has the institution been in existence? What are the qualifications and experience levels of the teachers? What do the school's parents have to say about the curriculum and teachers? Do the teachers have class control? Is there mutual respect between the students and teachers? These questions are essential for your child's academic career and should also be applied when choosing a cotillion program.

JDW Cotillions is celebrating its 60th Anniversary in 2009 and is very proud that the Company constantly challenges its own performance. Every student and every parent who participate in our programs are given a survey to grade the JDW program and instruction. Following are recent survey results:

  • 99% of parents said their children enjoyed their JDW Cotillion experience, and that they learned important social skills.
  • 97% of students believe that the JDW Cotillion has helped prepare them for their future.
  • 99% of parents believe the social skills learned in the JDW Cotillion have given their children an advantage and better understanding of manners and social etiquette.
